We’re Just Getting Started

Llorens has been making dolls in Spain since 1985, back when most toy companies were chasing trends instead of craftsmanship. We started because the founder—a father watching his daughter play with stiff, lifeless dolls—thought kids deserved better. Something that felt real in their hands. Something made to last through years of tea parties, stroller rides, and whatever else a four-year-old dreams up.

We still hand-paint faces in our workshop outside Valencia. Still use weighted bodies that feel like actual babies when you pick them up. Still dress them in clothes you could pull off and wash and put back on a hundred times. It’s not the fastest way to make a doll, but it’s the only way that makes sense to us. These aren’t collectibles meant to sit on a shelf—they’re made for kids who actually play with them.

The dolls look like real children because we think that matters. Different skin tones, different hair textures, different faces. Not because it’s trendy, but because a kid should be able to find a doll that looks like them, or their best friend, or their new baby brother.
